Moto Z and Moto Z Force Specs. What’s big in it?

The next generation of the smartphone is all about modular phones. We already have seen the Google ARA project where they displayed some cool features with swappable modules. Now there is no sign of ARA project moving. But meanwhile, the LG had launched a fully functional modular phone with the clipped button where you can insert different modules for the different purpose. Now to take on the LG the Motorola or rather say Lenovo has introduced their modular smartphones Moto Z and Moto Z Force.


At the Tech World 2016 event in San Francisco, the Lenovo has showcased it both upcoming devices named Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Both devices are coming as a semi-modular phone where you can swap different back case for increasing it different strength. We are not today going deep into the modular aspects. Instead, we will talk about the feature and specs of these smartphones. Shall we?

Lenovo Moto Z Specs


The Motorola Moto Z comes with 5.5 inches of Quad HD AMOLED display. The device powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo CPU. The GPU it supports is Adreno 530. To give you the maximum performances the Motorola Moto Z comes with 4Gb RAM. Regarding storage, the Moto Z comes with two variants a 32GB and 64GB. There is also a card slot to increase storage up to 256 GB.

In the camera department, the phone comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture lens, Laser Focus, OIS and Dual LED flash. 5MP of the front camera is also there which supports f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is no headphone jack there instead it uses the USB-C as the headphone jack.

There is a 2600 mAh battery included with this phone to give you the maximum.

Moto Z Force Specs


Both the Moto Z and Moto Z Force has almost the same features. There is only a few changes or addition to this model. So I am sharing the difference only.

You might hear about the Moto X, which comes with Shatterproof display. The Moto Z Force comes with the same shatterproof screen. Unlike the Moto Z; the Moto Z Force comes with 21MP of rear facing camera. The rear camera comes with some features including f/1.8 aperture lens, Laser Focus, OIS and Dual LED flash. Moto Z force comes with 3500 mAh battery.

In case you are looking for the price then I am sorry there is no mention of Price in the event. However, the phone is expected to hit the market in September 2016. We can get the price at that time only.
